 APPLICATION OF CONDITIONS
All estimates, quotation, services and goods supplied by Kent Birds Ltd (herein after referred to as ‘the seller’) are subject to these conditions and no variation will apply unless agreed in writing by the Director of the seller.

Customer Orders

We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions.

To order goods on our website, you must be at least 18 years of age and accept delivery within the UK. All telephone orders will be acknowledged verbally at the time of order, and all orders placed on our website will be acknowledged electronically by e-mail. Please note that verbal and/or electronic acknowledgements do not constitute order confirmation or order acceptance. Your order will be accepted and the creation of a legally binding contract between you and us will take place once the goods have been dispatched or collected. (Alternatively, we may decline all or part of your order for any reason, in which case we will inform you by e-mail or telephone).

Order Processing

Your order is sent directly to our secure till in our yard for processing. Once we have received your order and payment, our staff will pick, pack, and dispatch the item. We will aim to do this within 3-5* working days for all orders placed between Mondays – Friday (ex-Bank Holidays).

Order Tracking

Orders placed when logged into our site can be seen by logging into My Account from the Home page on this website. Your order would show in the order history and its progress can be followed here. When a label is printed you will receive an email from Global Freight Solutions with a consignment number. If during checkout you provide your mobile number, you should receive regular updates from Yodel, Hermes or DPD regarding the status of your delivery. Please note that a small number of orders are dispatched by Royal Mail, so on these occasions courier tracking is not available.

  1. PRICES
    All prices are subject to VAT at the rate applicable (if necessary) at the date of invoice. The seller reserves the right to alter prices without prior notice and the new prices will be advised at the time of placing an order.5. DAMAGE IN TRANSIT
    You are responsible for checking goods on delivery. You must always check you have received the correct number of parcels and that there are no damages or pilferage. If you or a member of staff or another person accepting the item sign the drivers’ delivery note ‘clear or blank’ (i.e. Parcels received in good condition) without noting damages or missing parcels we will NOT raise credits or send replacements if damages or missing items are found later.
    The delivery driver will HAVE to wait for a signature whilst the item is checked. You should inform us of any signed for damages or missing items within 24 hours. We always request a copy of the delivery note you signed. Damages or missing items claims will not be accepted if the note is signed ‘received in good condition’.

    If in doubt ring us on receipt of the delivery and before signing the drivers note.

    6. GUARANTEED ON GOODS SUPPLIED
    Unless otherwise stated in writing the warranty on all goods supplied will be limited to material failure or defective workmanship. If goods should prove to be defective and accepted as such by the seller, arrangements should be made with the seller who at their discretion, may replace them or refund the price paid.

    No warranty will apply to goods to which unauthorized repairs have been made. The seller shall not be liable for any consequential loss, damage, expense or injury resulting from the supply of such goods.

    7. DESCRIPTIONS
    The photographs, illustrations, dimensions, specifications and type numbers quoted are only a guide. Continued product delivery dictates product appearance and performance may vary slightly.

 

  1. RETURNS, REFUNDS & CANCELLATION POLICY
    We accept returns for refund or credit on items purchased from the seller. Please contact us before any return to agree a date and detail. Depending on the manner in which you have paid we will either issue a credit note, bank transfer or refund to a bank card.

Availability

All information provided on the products on this website is intended as a guide only. Dimensions and weights are only approximate, as are colors.

On occasion goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes outside our control. If you are ordering goods that are out of stock, we will dispatch them when they are received from our supplier. As such, delivery cannot be guaranteed and any dates we specify for the delivery of the goods are approximate only. We shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods.

Order Cancellation

If you would like to cancel your order then please email info@kentbirds.com ASAP.

If you cancel before your order has been dispatched, then you will be fully refunded.

If your order has already been dispatched or you choose to reject the delivery, we will deduct a return delivery fee from your refund: This amount Is £9.20 per 15 kg.

*Refunds are auctioned when the item has returned to our premises, not before.

Returns

The return of unwanted items are sent back at the customer’s expense. They must be returned in their original manufacturers packaging. It must be returned in new resalable condition within 7 working days along with the original receipt, and a covering note explaining why the item has been returned.

If you wish us to give you a quote for this return transit, please send us an e-mail.

For high value returns we suggest for your own protection you use 1st class registered post or traceable courier. Any refunds will be issued once we have received the goods, in their original unused condition. This refund only includes the total of goods sent not the delivery charge. We will not charge a restocking fee for returned items.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Law

These Terms and Conditions of Sale shall be governed by the laws of England and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We are required by law to inform you that sales can be concluded in English only and that no public filing requirements apply.
